For Kids - PreK through entering 5th Grade in Fall 2026*

Earn a digital badge and collect a brag tag after every ONE HOUR (60 minutes) of reading.

Earn all 9 badges and brag tags to receive a final prize and a printable certificate!

For Tweens & Teens Entering Grades 6-12 in September 2026

For every book* read & logged between June 22 and August 23 you will receive points that can be exchanged for raffle ticket entries into prize drawings. (Books on school reading lists are eligible.) Books should be preferably at least 200 pages** to qualify. 

If all 8 levels are reached, you will earn your choice of a diamond painting kit AND a prize book + the 8 raffle tickets.

A maximum of EIGHT (8) raffle tickets may be earned. Additional tickets will not be valid. 

One registration per person.

*books = physical books, ebooks, or audiobooks

**Picture books & early readers are not eligible unless discussed with Youth Services Librarian.

The Hasbrouck Heights Public Library would like to present the Summer 2026 Adult Summer Reading Programs! There are two separate programs that will run together, and patrons are encouraged to participate in both programs, Read Squared (Online), to increase their chances of winning one of our amazing prizes!
